Matylda Konecka

Matylda Konecka graduated from Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences with a degree in Landscape Architecture before moving to the UK in 2010. Now based in Scotland, she is a best-selling illustrator and recognised as one of Poland's top five female artists.

Matylda creates pieces full of magic and melancholy, bringing a fairy-tale universe to life. She references Scottish folklore and our rich musical heritage in some works, and takes inspiration from places in her native Poland for others. Matylda's surreal imagery and quirky characters can be seen throughout this collection.
