Jay Nottingham
As the sole publisher of Jay Nottingham's work in Scotland, we have created this collection of limited edition prints from some of Jay's most popular depictions of scenes across the Highlands and Islands.
Jay was born in Bedfordshire, England in 1972 and now lives in South Wales with his family, working as an artist full-time. He specialises in acrylic paintings with which he has mastered his own distinguishable style; combining a palette knife with delicate brushwork, he achieves pieces full of vibrant colour and texture.
Jay has been surrounded by creativity his whole life, choosing to follow in the footsteps of his artist grandfather and great-grandfather from an early age. Through their influence and his own experimentation, he has become a well-established contemporary artist despite having no formal training.
